The core program of LelaBlossom is focused on encouraging greatness. Our devoted instructors provide support and participation as students strive for academic achievement, personal and social growth, and an enhanced curriculum with an emphasis on leadership, character development, and service.
Specialists, we feel, are critical to our success. With experts in French, Visual Arts, Drama, Music, and Physical Education, as well as Math, Language, Science, and Social Studies from grades 3 to 6, LelaBlossom provides instructors with distinct knowledge in their subjects. Mathematics Program
LelaBlossom School has a Mathematics program that is meant to assist pupils develop a strong conceptual foundation that will allow them to apply their knowledge to problem solving. In addition to learning financial literacy, students engage with the five strands in an expanded curriculum.
The mathematical processes that enable learning, such as thinking, reflecting, problem solving, selecting computational techniques, and communicating, are given special attention. Traditional teaching methods are combined with a hands-on, interest-based approach. Instruction is customized to accommodate the specific needs of learners while also maintaining equality by encouraging all students to participate actively.
The purpose is to assist students in seeing the relevance of what they learn to the world around them, as well as to provide them with the skills to confront abstract challenges.
Language Arts Program
LelaBlossom provides an advanced Language Arts program that focuses on important abilities such as Reading, Writing, Oral Communication, and Media Literacy. Students develop a passion of reading as they study renowned writers. Students become active participants in their learning whether they are working separately on book reports or cooperatively during literary circles.
Students are encouraged to acquire good writing abilities and meaning in their work by focusing on grammar, punctuation, and spelling rules. Creative writing encourages pupils to expand their imaginations, while essay writing in upper primary school prepares kids for success in secondary school.
Students gain excellent verbal communication skills necessary for their careers with a concentration on oral presentations that include skits, speeches, read alouds, and more.
Children may develop their individual skills while having fun in a positive and entertaining setting via our Language Arts program.
Science Program
The sciences foster your child’s inherent curiosity and instinctive desire to learn via inquiry. Our Science program curriculum stimulates inquiry and is supplemented with field excursions that allow your kid to see the theories and ideas they’ve studied in the classroom applied in real-life situations.
Your child will be exposed to the fundamental theories and ideas of science through our Science curriculum, with the purpose of providing them an awareness of the natural and physical worlds, their interdependencies, and how these roles and functions relate to life.
Health and Physical Education Program
Physical and mental health We care about your child’s health, which is why our Health and Physical Education programs go beyond the gymnasium to include activities that promote core movement skills, healthy living, and active involvement. Your kid will gain a good self-image, self-esteem, confidence, team-building, and leadership abilities via our Health and Physical Education curriculum – all of which can be utilized outside of sports and physical activity.
More precisely, your child will learn the following skills as part of the Health and Physical Education curriculum at LelaBlossoms School:
- An awareness of the significance of physical fitness, health, and well-being, as well as the variables that influence them;
- A personal commitment to regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices; and

Visual Arts Program
Students will gain confidence, creativity, and the capacity to communicate with others via visual pictures as a result of the Visual Arts program. Students’ observation skills will improve as they learn to express themselves visually. They will learn to comprehend and enjoy a wide range of art work as they gain the capacity to assess and explain works of art from diverse periods and genres.
Design components will be developed by the pupils. They will use tempera paints, clay sculpture, watercolour, acrylic paint, soft lead pencil, pastels, and charcoal to experiment with various mediums and materials. Students will also study perspective in three dimensions, drawing, shading and shadows, color theory, compositions, and proportion.
Music Program
Music promotes self-expression while also exercising the brain in a variety of ways. As a result, we are quite proud of our outstanding Music program.
The LelaBlossom School Music curriculum is a thorough and progressive course designed to pique your child’s interest in music and nurture his or her passion for it. Your child will get two weekly classes in which they will hone their creative talents and learn the fundamentals of music that are required for a real understanding of the art. From preschool to senior kindergarten, your kid will develop his or her auditory abilities and get crucial musical experience through creative movement, choral speaking, singing, and playing unpitched percussion instruments with the use of particular Montessori sensorial materials.
Both the Carl Orff (instrumental) and Zoltan Kodaly (vocal) approaches of music instruction are used in the curriculum. Your kid will learn to sing in formal choir courses, read music notation, and participate in different music groups, including a drumming circle and the Orff instrumentarium, from Grades 1 to 3. (melody instruments). In Grades 2 and 3, the recorder ensemble (soprano and alto recorders) is introduced.
Your kid will be exposed to and encouraged to enjoy music from many countries and historical periods via the LelaBlossom School Music program. Being a member of a music ensemble allows your child to develop problem-solving skills as well as strong communication and critical thinking abilities.
Band class begins in fourth grade and lasts through sixth grade. Your child will learn to play instruments and be a member of mentor groups and small ensembles via band. Important leadership qualities, a feeling of teamwork, and strong work ethics will be developed in your youngster. Your kid will benefit from a head start in music notation, analysis, composition, and history because the band program begins sooner than public schools.
Throughout the school year, all of our children look forward to participating in concerts, with the most important ones taking place in December and February. Your kid will also play with our groups at a number of community locations and attend concerts and music festivals.
Performing Arts Program
The goal of the Performing Arts curriculum is to assist students have a better knowledge and appreciation for theater. Through moving, speaking, and writing in character, drama gives various chances for students to experience interacting with a variety of audiences for a number of goals. Role play is an important part of the Drama curriculum. Students will use their expanding knowledge of theatre forms, conventions, and ingredients to construct process theater with others, examine themes via improvisation, and develop or interpret situations through role playing.
Students will gain an understanding and enjoyment of dance, as well as the capacity to produce works employing the discipline’s components and choreographic forms, through the Dance program. Dance is a type of expressive movement with a defined structure. Movement is the medium via which all dance message is communicated. As a result, a dancer is both a performance and a tool for expressing dance. Students will create dance compositions that convey their feelings, thoughts, and understandings by developing their own movement.
